Freddie Freeman was on base four times in the second game, including stretching a soft ground ball down the third-base line into his 58th double of the season. He has five games left to become the first player since 1936 with 60 doubles in a season. David Peralta drove in two with a single and Amed Rosario one with an infield hit. Chris Taylor’s two-run single was the sixth hit of the inning off Rockies starter Ryan Feltner.
