Right at the bloodiest point of the Northern Ireland conflict, IRA bombers were filmed unmasked
A new documentary looking into an American film crew granted access to the IRA in the 70s is set to air on BBC this week.
Adam Smyth, Director of BBC NI says: “In its 50-year history, the Spotlight team’s track record speaks for itself in breaking big and important stories in the best traditions of investigative journalism. "In our investigation, despite the passage of over 50 years, we’ve tried to find as many of the pieces of the puzzle to reveal how this documentary was made.”
