Resurfaced photos of King Charles' swollen fingers have made the internet to either poke fun or express serious concern.
King Charles III pledged to follow the late Queen Elizabeth's example of "selfless duty" as he addressed lawmakers from both houses of parliament for the first time as king in London on Sept. 12, 2022.
Nye explained that while there are a handful of conditions that could cause bloated fingers similar to that seen with Charles, edema or fluid retention is the most likely. "To see if this is the cause, pressing the swollen area for about 15 seconds would cause a depression in the area," Nye added.
