Although her death is not considered suspicious, police are trying to find her next\u002Dof\u002Dkin to let them know about the death.
Investigators have not been able to identify the woman, who was found May 2 in an older 40-foot yacht dry-docked at a marina in the 6900-block Graybar Road, an industrial area along the south arm of the Fraser River in east Richmond.RCMP released a composite sketch of the woman in the hopes someone would recognize her and contact police.
“We are hoping that by releasing this sketch, a family member, friend or acquaintance will be able to help us identify her,” said Cpl. Ian Henderson of Richmond RCMP. “It is important that we find her next-of-kin, so they can be properly notified of her passing.” The woman was described as Caucasian, about 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 90 pounds, with shoulder-length curly brown hair and missing teeth in the upper left side.
