Do not turn away from polls, IEC insists as long queues still snake around some stations
The commission wishes to reiterate that all voters who arrive at the voting stations before 21:00 will be allowed to vote, even if it takes beyond the closing time to complete the process.
Replying to the tweet, @NkuziyaMtsonga commented:"This is ridiculous. EXAMS are starting on the 31st , and more students are deciding to return to their residences to prepare for exams. They’ve been waiting for over 6 hours; still nothing. IEC is failing dismally.""I want to leave, Sizwe! I’ve been at Wits since 1 AM! No order, no lines now. Everyone is impatient and tired!" @Ohnee23 tweeted.
