He was set to play at the Manchester festival on Sunday
DJ Michael Bibi has been forced to pull out of Parklife festival after being diagnosed with a rare brain cancer.
Bibi announced on Instagram that he had been hospitalised after being diagnosed with central nervous system lymphoma. The rare cancer can affect the brain and spine. “I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me. Wish me luck & I will be back stronger for you all. Love Bibi.”
Honey Dijon, Joe Wicks, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Disclosure, and Hannah Wants were among the first to post messages of support to the DJ. The Warehouse Project wrote: "Manchester sends its full love & support Michael.”
