She also served for six years as executive director of the Lake Highlands Public Improvement District where she worked with property owners, residents and business owners to improve the quality of life in the district.
Stewart also served as PTA president at White Rock Elementary, Lake Highlands Junior High and Lake Highlands High School.She left the position at Uptown Dallas Inc. last November to focus on the campaign. Since then, she has met with neighbors to learn about concerns; she says homelessness, public safety, and home affordability projects are the most recurring issues.
Baldeo said he spoke with business owners near the 12000 Greenville Ave., and Cypress Creek at Forest Lane projects, and they do not trust and support those two initiatives, he said.
