Guests staying at Disneyland’s Paradise Pier Hotel can access the long-awaited “Finding Nemo” and “Finding Dory”-themed slide and splash pad, beginning Tuesday, as the venue continues its transition toward becoming the nation’s first Pixar-themed hotel.

While Disney officials said there are no age or height requirements for the slide, guests must be able to step in and out on their own.There’s also a 1,200-square-foot pop-jet splash pad for children that shoots up funnels of water located in adjacent Nemo’s Cove.Renovations are underway to remake Paradise Pier Hotel next to California Adventure with designs inspired by the studio behind “Toy Story” and more.
Hours change with seasons, but the pool is currently open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., while the slide’s hours will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. “The Pixar theme has been a winner,” she said. “I had a regular customer tell me recently that she’s willing to overcome the longer flight to take her kids to Cars Land [an auto-themed section of California Adventure] and stay at the Pixar hotel.
