Loris Taboureau, 20, was working at Les Chariots Gourmands, on June 26 when guests requested both whipped cream, Nutella and marshmallows as toppings for their waffles, according to a dismissal letter obtained byTaboureau said they had to choose one of the two toppings — Nutella or whipped cream — which is their policy.

Customers saw Taboureau load all of the sweet toppings on the waffles ordered by the people in front of them in line and complained.Taboureau expressed disbelief over being fired for his first misstep — and said he believes he got the ax for his role in industrial action strikes earlier this year.
