Disneyland rolled out new availability for its year-old Magic Key annual passes. The offering includes one new tier, Inspire, which is the most expensive offering. The old Dream key pass is no longer available. This tranche of passes goes on sale August 18
It’s worth noting that Chapek also noted last week that “average per capita ticket revenue” was way up in the quarter, due mostly to the park’s Genie+ and Lightning Lane offerings.
But, he said those gains were was “partially offset by an unfavorable attendance mix at Disneyland Resort.” Some have speculated that that quote is referencing annual pass holders who, as locals, may spend less per visit that a one-time tourist going all out.
