Disney+ has passed 50 million subscribers in the first 5 months
The service launched in the U.S. in November and accumulated 10 million subscribers in its first day.from streaming analytics firm AntennaOver the past two weeks, Disney rolled out the service in countries under lockdown like Italy, France and the United Kingdom.
Disney+ debuted in India last week, which is also under lockdown because of the coronavirus, accounting for 8 million subscribers alone.It’s a big win for Disney at a time when the company needs one.
