Power Rangers Hexagon, the Power Rangers season that never was, would have been a civil war between Jason and Tommy. Jason Lee Scott and Tommy Oliver are among the most popular Power Rangers of all time. Whereas Jason exited the Power Rangers during Mighty Morphin season 2, Tommy remained on the show uninterruptedly until Power Rangers Turbo season 1. In all of Power Rangers’ TV canon, Jason and Tommy only fought each other twice.

Hexagon would have adapted Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger, serving as the 11th Power Rangers season. Hexagon’s story would have revolved around Tommy Oliver, who would create an organization known as the Hexagon.
Why Power Rangers Hexagon Didn’t Happen The original plans for Power Rangers’ 11th season were dropped once Disney, which had acquired the franchise during the making of Wild Force, moved production from the United States to New Zealand. Most of the crew and the creative team from the previous shows did not return for Power Rangers’ 11th season, which is why Instead, Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger was adapted as Power Rangers Ninja Storm , an all-original story with no ties to previous seasons.
