Absolutely rank 🤮
A former pub on Blackpool's sea front which has been closed for a year has been taken over by mountains of rubbish which has been tossed into the beer garden. The venue, which was owned by the Stonegate Pub Company, has since been listed as sold with a price tag of £900,000 on the website of Manchester-based agents Fleurets. But the pub has been untouched since, and now it's beer garden, which was once full off punters, is piled high with rubbish.
The garden is filled with old takeaway boxes, sweet packets, coffee cups, beer cans and plenty more. In some areas of the garden, the layer of rubbish is so thick, the floor can not be seen. “This wasn't an easy decision to make. It's truly been our honour to serve you all at Yates Blackpool South and we've made memories that will last a lifetime!! From all the team at Yates Blackpool South...........GOODBYE.”
A spokesperson for Blackpool Council said: "Our Environmental Protection team has been looking into this matter. One of the main difficulties in resolving the issue has been the question of ownership of the property.
