Premier Scott Moe expressed disappointment on Twitter that he was not aware of Trudeau\u0027s visit before it was publicly announced

He added that Saskatchewan has been advocating for increased investment in this area, and that he, with a delegation from the province, had been in Washington, D.C., last month to meet with various levels of U.S. administration to discuss opportunities related to energy security.

Trudeau has been regularly making appearances with other premiers. Last month, he met with new British Columbia Premier David Eby and marked the opening of an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Ontario next to Premier Doug Ford. “These are things that we’re going to continue to work on but I’m always happy to work with the government of Saskatchewan to deliver good jobs for workers across Saskatchewan.”Article content
