Lest you be misled, I’ll note that at Speakeasy, tapas means small plates of any origin rather than smaller-portioned Spanish dishes. In Ottawa, I’ve missed top-notch tapas indebted to Spain, and pintxos, their Basque cousins, ever since Bar Laurel in Hintonburg closed two years ago. Speakeasy does not fill this vacuum.
