Chiefs have been one of the most active teams during the ongoing transfer window in which no fewer than 11 players have departed the club and seven new faces arrived.
Yusuf Maart has also joined up with the team, as has have a trio from Swallows FC in the form of Kamohelo Mahlatsi, George Matlou and Dillon Solomons., Amakhosi assistant coach Dillion Sheppard shed some light on the club’s new signings and hinted that a couple of new recruits could be added to the first team before the window closes.
"We were able to bring in some new faces and it was important to reinforce in some positions where we were lacking. "In the centre-back role we brought in Zitha Kwinika who is an ex-Kaizer Chiefs player. He’s come through the system and youth development, so he knows the system and he knows the club and he's also a strong leader and communicator which is something that we really needed.
