The Granada Hills boys 4×100 relay team will eye CIF State title in Clovis this weekend after winning a City title.

Dijon Stanley finished the day as a four-time City champion, winning three more City titles in the 200 meter, the 400 and the 4×400 relay. He won the 200 in 21.14, the 400 in 45.17, and was part of the 4×400 relay with Jordan Coleman, Jayden Smith and Lucas Scott to win it in 3 minutes, 17.61 seconds.

Stanley is the front runner to win the 400 CIF State crown at the CIF State Championships on Friday and Saturday, May 26-27, at Buchanan High in Clovis. He currently holds the state’s fastest mark in the 400 this season . Granada Hills’ Jordan Coleman won the 100 in 10.67. El Camino Real’s Isaac Torres won the 800 with a personal best time of 1 minute, 55.47 seconds. Cleveland’s Joseph Vargas won the 1600 with a personal best time of 4:20.92. Birmingham’s Deshawn Banks won the high jump with a mark of 6 feet, 6 inches.

On the girls’ side, Carson won the team City title with 166 points. Granada Hills finished second with 96 points. Senior Jocelyn Pacheco won the girls 3200 City title in 11:08.51 and her younger sister Samantha Pacheco, a freshman, finished second with a personal best 11:17.47. El Camino Real’s Caylin Norwood won the 100-meter hurdles in 16:20. Granada Hills’ London Williams won the high jump .
