The model and mother-of-one shared a picture of herself breastfeeding her newborn baby, Nora-Jane, backstage at the Schiaparelli spring 2023 couture show—immediately after walking the runway.
As you might expect from Maurer—and the backstage area at a Schiaparelli show, for that matter— it’s a totally surreal vignette. The snap finds her covered in a protective sheet of plastic, still adorned with gold face paint applied by makeup maestro Pat McGrath. It’s giving super mum-meets-fashion goddess.
This isn’t the first time baby Nora-Jane has stolen the fashion spotlight. When Maggie was still pregnant, her bump glided down the catwalk for Nensi Dojaka’s fall 2022 show, starred in the fall 2022 Schiaparelli lookbook, and appeared in Peter Do’s fall 2022 campaign. A fashion career surely beckons in the future.
