Devin Brown arrived at Ohio State’s home opener wearing a Block O bolo tie, which he said was custom-made by his uncle using Fordite from his family’s business.

As Ohio State players made their way onto the field two hours before kickoff against Youngstown State, each Buckeye was dressed in a suit and tie. Brown's tie was a tad more noticeable than the rest.

Brown rocked a bolo tie bearing the Block O logo, with his number 33 engraved in the center. But there was more to the gesture than just representing his school and himself. The OSU quarterback had the tie custom-made by his uncle, Timmy, and said in a tweet Friday that it was made using Fordite from the family’s business, which dates back four generations. Brown said the star at the top of the tie represents him, while the other stars on the tie represent his father, his three brothers and seven uncles as a reminder to himself that his family always has his back.

My Block O bolo was hand made by my talented Uncle Timmy. The fordite came from our 4 generation family business. The star at the top is me & each of the other stars are my dad, my 3 brothers and my 7 uncles as a reminder that they always have my back. Family over everything!
