It has been described as one of the 'best photography festivals in the world'
The Belfast Photo Festival is returning this year at outdoor and indoor venues across the city for the month of June.
It attracts upwards of 100,000 visitors a year, celebrating some of the finest national and international contemporary photography across 30 museums, galleries and public spaces.The Festival consists of exhibitions, talks, symposiums, workshops, screenings, masterclasses, portfolio reviews and tours. It is funded by Belfast City Council, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and Arts and Business Northern Ireland.
The festival organisers state: "In this edition of Belfast Photo Festival, we explore how artists in the contemporary moment are interpreting the idea of the ‘journey’ as a subject of art.
