The data allows for some new analysis of how Vancouver voted.
The City of Vancouver released the detailed choices for each of the 176,450 ballots cast in last October’s municipal election, providing new insights into voter behaviours.
The release, the first of its kind for the city, was in response to one of the recommendations in a 2017 report from an independent election task force established by the previous city council with the aim of increasing voter turnout and improving public confidence in the municipal electoral process.
