Destiny 2's next season has the potential for a compelling storyline with Uldren and Saint-14.
’s Season of Dawn, and later today actual “events” start picking up again on reset days, with Legend Sundial and the Devil’s Ruin exotic quest coming. But before I go write out that quest guide at noon, I wanted to focus on something else for a minute, the potential ofRight now, we have no idea what next season is called, as no one glimpsed it on a whiteboard in a Vidoc or anything.
The ultimate journey I’m making here is that I feel like there’s a lot of potential for Saint-14 and Uldren to become friends next season as a core part of the story, which would bring Uldren back into relevance after being missing for more than a year now. Uldren, meanwhile, has nothing and no one. It’s not terribly fair that everyone still hates him because this amnesia means he’s essentially an entirely new person. That’s true of all Guardians. We could have been Ted Bundy in a former life for all we know, but once you’re resurrected it’s a clean slate. But no one is giving Uldren that chance. Saint would.
