Designers RebeccaMinkoff, JasonWu headline IMG's NYFW:NXT virtual training program
Designers Rebecca Minkoff and Jason Wu are giving aspiring fashion professionals a reason to dress up amid the pandemic as they headline NYFW: NXT, a free online training program from Endeavor Impact and IMG’s NYFW: The Shows team.
Other panels include Chanel Iman, Emily DiDonato, Nouri Hassan, and Zach Miko talking about diversity and body inclusivity in fashion; designer Christian Cowan on running a successful fashion label; and Studio 189 designer Abrima Erwiah talking about how to leverage fashion as part of a get-out-the-vote campaign in 2020.
NYFW:NXT follows on the heels of WME's other recent efforts toward inclusion, including the Summer SeriesEndeavor Impact, a separate virtual program aiming to provide access to students who may not have a direct path into the entertainment industry.
