Tutto quello che c’è da sapere sul vetro made in Italy e non solo. In occasione dell’edizione 2023 di Vitrum, la fiera delle macchine e delle tecnologie per la trasformazione del vetro a Milano Rho, dal 4 al 10 settembre torna a Milano la Glass Week, il più importante evento nazionale dedicato al vetro industriale e artistico.
Secondo Michele Gasperini, responsabile di Tonelli Design, storico marchio del distretto del vetro di Pesaro, “la Milan Glass Week è un evento eccezionale, che celebra il vetro in tutte le sue forme"."Un elogio a un materiale unico - dice - che trova in Italia i principali trasformatori, esperti e artisti, capaci di esaltarne tutte le possibili sfumature. Il vetro è un materiale naturale che esiste da sempre.
Il vetro è il protagonista anche del nuovo progetto di Luciano Marson e Karin Friebel, fondatori dell’impresa sociale a economia circolare Pieces of Venice. I portacandele Murano Faro 4177 e Fondamenta Vetrai 97, realizzati da Fucina Frammenti, danno nuova vita alle 'galottine' provenienti dagli scarti dei bicchieri realizzati con il prestigioso e coloratissimo vetro di Murano.
