The Florida governor has been making the pitch to wealthy donors in the Empire State, including to billionaire GOP donor Ronald Lauder, per Politico.The report, citing an anonymous New York businessman, said the pitch by DeSantis was that he is"no drama" and"no chaos," with the Florida governor insisting he is"calm, cool and collected."
Polls indicate that DeSantis has higher marks than Trump in nearly all metrics in a recent Quinnipiac University poll, except for in who would win in a Republican primary.
