Florida Republicans reacted angrily to reports that a New York City grand jury has voted to indict former President Donald Trump, a historic action that could dramatically shake up an expected presidential primary matchup with Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The reaction was swift from Florida GOP leaders, who followed Trump's lead in calling the indictment politically motivated.
In a sign of how explosive the politics are around Trump's indictment, DeSantis also reversed himself on a previous statement that indicated he would not get involved in the case to try and block Trump's extradition from Florida.
