JOHANNESBURG - South African TV legend Derek Watts says goodbye to investigative journalism programme Carte Blanche after more than three decades.
He still had the enthusiasm to share stories that shaped the country with the programme's devoted viewers despite the disease spreading to his lungs. Watts said that he consulted his doctor after discovering a lump under his arm in the early months of 2022, but it took him a few months and much nagging from his wife Belinda before he finally gave in.
