The strongest storms will bring brief heavy rain and small hail, forecasters said.
Rain storms, clouds, the rumble of thunder, and flashes of lightning will hit metro Denver Thursday afternoon and intensify, hanging over Colorado’s Front Range and high plains through the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
The high temperature will be 74 degrees in Denver on Thursday, decreasing to 68 degrees on Friday. At night, the temperature will decrease to 53 degrees.
