Denver's ski train is back. Go from the city to the slopes car-free

The seasonal route from downtown Denver takes visitors to Winter Park Resort.

$123 gets you two coach tickets to ride from L.A. to Portland, Ore. Sale is good on routes nationwide.

Service begins Jan. 10 and will operate through March 29. Trains leave Denver at 7 a.m. and return from Winter Park at 6:40 p.m. Tickets cost $29 to $59 each way for the train that runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Children 2 to 12 pay half fare when traveling with an adult.
