“To the point where David Axelrod – the guy who got Barack Obama elected twice – came out explicitly, in writing, on X, talking about how it is time for Joe Biden to step aside,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray. “He’s got to do his soul searching. He has to have private conversations in the residence of the White House with Jill Biden and talk about whether he’s doing this for his ego or for the country.Ms Kelly’s comments come after it was revealed in the New York Times that US President Joe Biden is trailing behind Donald Trump in five of six swing states one year out from the 2024 presidential election, according to the latest poll.
