Demi even released a song on their seventh studio album called “California Sober.” “Used to live in fear of always slipping, / But living for perfection isn’t living. / I ran a little slower, now I’m tripping. / A beautiful and magical beginning,” they sang on the track.
This is no longer the case. “After going through even more stuff last year, I came out of treatment again,” Demi told Fallon. "I realized, like, I really want to do this for myself and I want to make the best album possible, something that really represents who I am…The easiest way to do something the most authentic is to do it clean and sober.
They added, “So I made this album, you know, clean and sober.
