Dell Technologies has announced the rollout of MultiCloud data Protection tools and AI-enabled solutions to address the rise in cyberattacks.
It has expanded its portfolio to add PowerProtect Data Domain appliances with improved performance, efficiency, and security.
“With the exponential growth of data, generative AI presents organisations with opportunities to streamline processes, improve decision-making and drive innovation, but it also extends the attack surface for cyberattacks – especially with trained models, which are quickly becoming one of the most valuable assets for enterprises,” highlighted Arthur Lewis, president for Infrastructure Solutions Group at Dell Technologies.
On top of this, the systems are said to offer greater efficiency, with up to 11 percent less power consumption and 65 times deduplication. Furthermore Dell Technologies notes that these systems are highly scalable, with up to 1.5 petabytes of usable capacity in a single appliance.
