Two weeks ago, the Redblacks re-signed defensive end Lorenzo Mauldin IV, the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2022. And, now, Hunter returns. Among the team’s list of potential free agents come Feb. 14: Linebacker Avery Williams, defensive backs Sherrod Baltimore, Brandin Dandridge, Antoine Pruneau and Abdul Kanneh, offensive linemen Darius Ciraco and Hunter Steward and defensive lineman Davon Coleman.
The CFL’s free-agent negotiation/tampering window opens Sunday. Teams can openly talk to any of the league’s pending free agents or their representatives. The negotiation window is open for seven days, closing at noon Feb. 12.
