Death in Paradise fans have been sharing their hopes for a replacement in the BBC crime series' lead role after current star Ralf Little was rumoured to have quit.
A Reddit user posted the poll " Is the show ready for a new DI?" which sparked a discussion amongst Death in Paradise regular viewers. Someone else added: "It's very much time. The fish-out-of-water trope is getting tired. Neville has had his run, and the will they / won't they dynamic with Florence feels forced and quite mismatched. If they want that pairing, perhaps they can hire some new script writers to do up a new series for them."
