Deadpool and Wolverine fans showcase their best in red and yellow
The screening of the new Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine held at the Eastgate Mall in Johannesburg on Tuesday 23 June was a spectacle of expressive costumes and magnificent makeup from fans of the film series.Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine revisit their uncanny love-hate relationship in the third edition of the film franchise.
The adventure film opens with an epic fighting scene where what remains of a sacred skeleton is further annihilated. The cinema occasionally roars with laughter when satirical references to Fox being bought off by Disney are made. Reynolds' character also takes a jab at Will Smith’s infamous swing at Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards.
