“It was a Toyota Quantum with three occupants that collided with a VW Polo with one occupant that collided. Drivers of both vehicles, both male died on the scene, while one person sustained some injuries and was transported to a hospital in Mthatha.In the first accident, two people died while three others including the driver sustained injuries on the R61 road between Mthatha and PSJ, near Dangwana location.
“Two passengers died on the scene while the driver and three other passengers were taken to Isilimela and St Barnabas hospital. A culpable homicide docket has been opened for further investigations.”
