This change in launch date is a good move when it comes to time management, as it means that Dead Island 2 no longer clashes with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The latest instalment, which was re-revealed with a gory trailer during Gamescom's Opening Night Live event in 2022, takes players on a blood-soaked, pulp voyage to escape Los Angeles, now nicknamed HELL-A, as it descends into zombie-infested chaos with all of the over the top action and dark humour that fans will be expecting.Our earlier preview of the game showed off a brutal melee sandbox that will cater to all who love blood and gore.
