DavidBeckham 's OBE pride seen in unearthed video after his visit to see Queen's coffin
Retired footballer David Beckham proudly talks about receiving his OBE in recent unearthed footage following his recent emotional visit to see the Queen's coffin to pay his respects.
He said: “When you think about those who’ve been given the OBE, like Bobby Charlton who was my idol and my dad’s idol, to then hear I was getting one, it probably hit me when I first received a letter that said ‘David Beckham OBE’.”The video has resurfaced following David's recent visit to see the Queen’s coffin as it is Lying-in-State and was praised for "declining a pass to jump queue" and instead waited for 14 hours.
The star jokingly said his "knees were ok” from standing in the long queue, but the same couldn't be said for his back.
