Chappelle’s opening monologue dove into the recent anti-Semitism from rapper Kanye “Ye” West and Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving that has resulted in wide condemnation. Chappelle said he grew up around Jewish people and has a lot of Jewish friends “so he’s not freaked out by your culture.”He then mentioned Irving, who is currently suspended by the Nets after he shared an anti-Semitic film on social media and was slow to apologize for it.“I’ve been to Hollywood — don’t want you to get mad at me, I’m just telling you I’ve been to Hollywood, this is just what I saw,” he also said. “It’s a lot of Jews.
