A devastated daughter has slammed the vile actions of an 'inhumane' Blackpool Victoria Hospital nurse who 'roibbed her of her mother'. In December 2023, Catherine Hudson was jailed for seven years and two months. The 54-year-old had been found guilty of using sedatives on patients to "keep them quiet and compliant". One of her victims was Janet Westhead, who had been admitted to Hudson's ward after suffering a mini stroke in February 2017.
Her daughter Susan Millar told BBC Crimewatch Live how her mother initially seemed to be recovering well. But then her health rapidly deteriorated during her stay in hospital.
