Traffic will be shifted so a contractor can mill and pave the bridges and replace expansion dams.
Weather permitting, the contractor will begin placing barrier on westbound Route 22/322 at approximately 6 p.m. on June 5. This work is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. the following morning. All traffic will be shifted to the left lane. A 12-foot travel lane and 6-foot shoulder will be maintained during this phase of the project.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to slow down when approaching and traveling through work zones for their safety as well as for the safety of the road crews.
