The graphic presets for No Man's Sky have illuminated the Trinity, the codename for the PS5 Pro, and suggests it's inbound.
Last week saw a massive and impressive update to No Man’s Sky. The Worlds Part 1 overhaul saw the game’s procedural generation algorithms re-written entirely, alongside the transfer over to the Light No Fire tech engine. Perhaps there’s a big story to be told here though. Data-miners peeking under the hood have a reference to Trinity, the alleged code-name for the PS5 Pro. Sourced via Twitter, @bomber_that is the individual who first encountered this reference.
As mentioned before, that’s likely due to the fact that No Man’s Sky developers simply have no reason to go beyond this in terms of fidelity. Had this been another title that struggles notoriously on the PS5 – Final Fantasy XVI or Dragon’s Dogma 2 – then we could have had a bit more of a noteworthy comparison.
