Responsibilities include 2nd tier support, understanding client data needs, developing and maintaining data architectures, integrating systems, and preparing data for predictive modelling. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science, IT, mathematics, applied mathematics, actuarial science, or engineering and up to 2 years of experience.

Understand and manage the client’s data requirements, the data being specific to the financial markets. Contribute towards a team that develops, constructs, tests and maintains architectures Employ a variety of languages and tools to marry systems togetherEmploy sophisticated analytics and statistical methods to prepare data for use in prescriptive modellingProvide feedback to the Development team regarding new functionality and issue loggingYou can be a graduate or have up to 2 years’ work experience.
Your degree has to be a BSC in computer science, B.IT or Informatics related, Maths, |Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Engineering.My client creates software widely used by Asset Management companies in South Africa and more recently in the UK, in line with the company’s international expansion strategy. The area where the software is mostly used is within the research and investment process.
