Saskatchewan golf courses are about to get busy with the summer holiday season and provincial championship events.
It’ll mark the start of a busy Golf Saskatchewan provincial championship season.
The Saskatchewan senior men’s, senior women’s and mid-Master’s championships are scheduled for July 17-19 at the Prince Albert Cooke Municipal Golf Club. The event features some PGA Saskatchewan, PGA Alberta and PGA Canada professionals, including one-time PGA Tour and European Senior Tour member Phil Jonas, who is joined by the likes of Kevin Dietz, Chad Lavallee, Conner McGill, Jason Plosz, Marty Wheaton and Jeff Wiggins.Spots have been held for top amateur Josh Nagy and Roman Timmerman, the 2022 Saskatchewan Amateur champion, should they decide to play.The PGA Tour is at the Detroit Golf Club this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
