That 70s Show star Danny Masterson was recently found guilty of two counts of rape, and as he awaits sentencing, TMZ has reported.
According to a recent report, Masterson won’t be kept in the general population of the L.A. County Men’s Central Jail. Instead, Masterson will be kept in “administrative segregation,” a unit that other inmates like Suge Knight and O.J. Simpson have been placed in following arrests and convictions.
TMZ went on to note that Masterson will be allowed out of his cell for 2 hours each day, and will have access to the jail’s library, but will have no television. He’ll also get recreational time 3 hours each week, and will be able to shower every other day ahead of his next court date on August 4, 2023.as a result of being found guilty on two counts of the “forceable rape” of two Jane Does, though the jury did not reach a unanimous verdict.
The actor was handcuffed and taken into custody following the reading of the verdict, with the next hearing for the matter set for August 4. The outlet described the actor as “expressionless” when the verdict was read out. Masterson was arrested in 2020 for the alleged assaults and faced up to 45 years in prison if he was found guilty on all three counts. This verdict comes after the retrial began on April 24 and wrapped on May 12.
