Daniel Ricciardo wants to test a NASCAR stock car.
Red Bull Racing held a"season launch" in Manhattan Friday where it first announced its new partnership with Ford to create Red Bull Ford Powertrains. Daniel Ricciardo also made his first official appearanceasked him if he was going to try and leverage the new Ford connection into a NASCAR test.he's not interested in racing ovals, but testing is another matter.
Ricciardo said he's headed to Detroit next week to meet with Ford personnel, and he might ask about a test., and spends much of his off-time in California. At the 2021 U.S. Grand Prix, he did a show run in McLaren team owner Zak Brown's ex-Dale Earnhardt 1984 Monte Carlo stock car.
