EXCLUSIVE: Teddy Sheringham wants Tim Sherwood to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham THFC

“All I can see from what Daniel Levy has done is that he’s gone out to try and buy the best and get the best managers in. He’s had Jose Mourinho in and he’s a proven winner. He’s had Conte, a proven winner and it hasn’t happened for whatever reason.” Former manager Mauricio Pochettino has been heavily linked with the post but Sheringham believes Levy would be well suited going for another former employee of his in Sherwood.
Sheringham added: “I think that the vibe is all wrong at Tottenham. There’s question marks all the time about Conte, is he staying? Is he going?“He’s only been there two years and it seems to come around every three months about whether he’ll stay or he’ll go. He looks upset and you can’t have that because you need some sort of stability to give you the confidence that you’re there for the long run and you want to make it right.
“Football minds, he can see who is cheating, who wants the ball and who doesn’t. Get him in charge and get them in shape.”18+ New customers only.
