Nigerian goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi will carry a plus up his sleeves in the chase for his next contract ahead of his departure from Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the month.
Babina Noko cannot match the package that Akpeyi was on at Chiefs which is known to this website with packages of all players leaving having been leaked."There has been interest in Daniel from clubs in the PSL, so we are busy at the moment though nothing is concrete," his representative Mohammed Lawal tells"We have been talking to clubs because as you know he is going to be out of contract at the end of the month so obviously clubs know that Chiefs are not renewing his contract.
"He will possibly stay in the PSL because he has been here for a while and his family is here and he is happy. But then in football you can never say never. The fact is if an opportunity comes from elsewhere and we find it good enough we will definitely move. It doesn’t mean that it is a must for him to stay in the PSL.
