Ashley Banjo is keeping everything crossed over his return to the Dancing On Ice ⛸ He first joined the annual skating series in 2018 and has revealed that the show is expected to return but he isn’t sure whether he’ll be sitting on the panel.
Meanwhile, Ashley recently admitted that he isafter Diversity’s Black Lives Matter dance performance on Britain’s Got Talent.
Despite feeling defiant against the trolls, the street dancer revealed that performing the routine on Diversity’s nationwide tour still makes him nervous about the audience reaction. ‘Every night, I go down and take that knee and there’s a little part of me that just kind of goes, “I wonder what’s gonna happen”. You just don’t know,’ he said.
‘We never got the opportunity to perform that routine in front of a crowd at the time because of Covid.’ , with some viewers claiming it was unsuitable for a family audience, that it was racist towards white people, and that it was too critical of white police officers and also endorsing a political movement.
