Willemse has been named on the bench and will cover 10, 12 and 15 as Bok coach Jacques Nienaber has reverted to a six-two split. “I have been in the system for a few years, since 2018, working with coach Jacques and Rassie , so I know the structures and I am used to it,” Willemse said. “I have been playing at 15 and 10, not so much at 12, but being so familiar with the structures and the way we do things at the Springboks, as well as having a guy like Damian de Allende with me helps me a lot.
